"Lard of the Dance" is the first episode of season 10 of The Simpsons and the two-hundred and fourth episode overall. It originally aired on August 23, 1998. The episode was written by Jane O'Brien and directed by Dominic Polcino. It guest stars Lisa Kudrow as Alex Whitney.
Synopsis[edit]

After going back-to-school shopping, Homer learns from Apu that he can sell grease to make a profit.
