James Hetfield is the current singer and rhythm guitarist for Metallica. He plays himself in the episode The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and Her Homer. When he was a kid, he was a best friend of Lars Ulrich. James and Lars got an idea of forming a band in the 80s.
