Futurama is another show created by Matt Groening. Matt makes references to his other show many times.

References

• HOMR: Fry appears in the couch gag.

• Missionary:Impossible: Bender appears in FOX telethon at the end.

• Bart vs. Lisa vs. The Third Grade: One of the TV characters Bart turns the kids into is Bender.

• Fraudcast News: Squeaky Voiced Teen yells "Why did they have to cancel Futurama?!" before jumping off a mountain.

• Future-Drama: Bender appears when Homer and Bart pass through the tunnel. The title is also a joke on Futurama.

• My Big Fat Geek Wedding: At the Comic Book convention, Matt apears in honour of his show, Futurama.

• Homerazzi: Sideshow Mel is eating the American Flag like Dr. Zoidberg did in A Taste of Freedom.

• Saddlesore Galactica: If you look close enough in the background in one scene you can see Fry.

Simpsons in Futurama

In return to being referanced on The Simpsons, Futrama also makes a few referances to The Simpsons.

• Space Pilot 300: When Fry pass through an underwater tube, Blinky briefly appears in the water anove him.

• A Big Piece of Garbage: On the trash asteriod, a pile of Bart Simpson dolls can bee seen. Bender picks up one and hears Bart say his catchprase, "Eat my shorts". Bender complies and eat them and mimics Homer by going "Mmmmm...shorts"
