The Hold-Up That Made a Hero Out of Mac is a comic ad featured in Radioactive Man #1. The comic ad was later reprinted in Radioactive Man #711.
Plot
This is an ad for an education per mail that for $10 you learn how you be a super hero in 15 years. You learn creating a origin, a name, a costume, a sidekick and a membership in the most super societies.
It parodies both the classic "Charles Atlas" bodybuilding comic book ad, and the origin story of Batman.
