Harry Morgan (born Harry Bratsberg; April 10, 1915 – December 7, 2011) was an American actor, director, and writer, best known for his roles as Colonel Sherman T. Potter in M*A*S*H. He voiced Bill Gannon, his character from Dragnet, in the season 7 episode "Mother Simpson".
