Harry Morgan (born Harry Bratsberg; April 10, 1915 - December 7, 2011)[1] was an American actor, director, and writer. As an actor, Morgan's two most famous roles were Colonel Sherman T. Potter on M*A*S*H and Bill Gannon on Dragnet.
On The Simpsons, Morgan reprised the Bill Gannon character for the Season 7 episode "Mother Simpson".
