The episode starts in [[Springfield Mall]] where workers in the mall are taking down and destorying anything that is Christmas. The family went to the mall to return the15 month kitten calenders they received as presents from [[Bart]]. Lisa spots a [[Mapple]] store and goes inside. Lisa realizes that she can't afford any products and thinks maybe she could buy a phoney earbud, but that costs $40. She encounters [[Krusty]] who is unhappy with his Mypod he received in a celebrity gift basket and gives it away to Lisa. Meanwhile, everyone in the store is eager to hear a new announcement of the owner and CIO (Chief Imaginative Officer) of Mapple, Steve Mobbs. Bart plays a prank by talking over Steve Mobbs speech with his own voice, telling the Mapple fans that they are all losers, it only costs $8 to make a Mypod and he [Steve Mobbs] personally pees on every one of the products, invests the money he makes in Microsoft, and makes out with Bill Gates with their money. Lisa tell the employees that it was Bart which starts a mob after Bart. While running from the mob, Bart smells something good cooking and he meets [[Bashir bin Laden]] and his mother.
