History

After Homer missed the score of the Springfield Isotopes - Utica Mohogs ice hockey match, he was banging on a laptop and going to different sites in a rage. ESPN's website came up, advertising the hockey score, although Homer paid no attention to it.

Homer was watching a live coverage of Little XII College Golf on ESPN-D3-2, a channel for Division III sports.[1]

Trivia

In the Season 20, "Wedding for Disaster", The Parson came to visit Springfield. A large crowd showed up to greet him and one of the people in the crowd was holding up a sign that read "Everybody Says Parsons' Nice", spelling out "ESPN".
