Season 24 has been mentioned by show runner Al Jean in interview videos. This season was renewed along with a 25th season.[1]

Treehouse of Horror XXIII

Plans for "Treehouse of Horror XXIII" include:

  • Back to the Future story about when Homer met Marge, and the alternate turnout of Marge's marriage. Artie Ziff returns.

Unknown

  • Grampa disappears and Homer discovers that his past had more to it than he thought. (It is unknown whether this storyline was used for an example for how relationships develop in the show or not.)
