	I know it's cliché, but I think seeing my long-lost ex-wife threw me off the trail of a time bandit.

	I was just using the past tense because I'm narrating this now in the future, as well as telling it in the past.

	Is it because you want to get back together with me someday in the future... by which I mean now?
