The Harlem Globetrotters are an American basketball team.
History
Krusty took all the money he made franchising his name and bet it against the Globetrotters because he thought the Washington Generals were due. When the Globetrotters won the game Krusty argued that it was a fix: the Globetrotters had been using a ladder.

The Harlem Globetrotters are an actual American basketball team, best known for their comic routines and their spectacular winning streak in exhibition games against the Washington Generals.
