Pikachu is a is one of the fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar Pokémon franchise, which includes video games and a televised series, in which he plays a leading role alongside his trainer, Ash Ketchum.

Pikachu makes a cameo appearance in the 2002 episode Bart vs. Lisa vs. the Third Grade, alongside Bender from Futurama. The two appear after Bart beings hallucinating during an exam, caused by his addiction to watching television with Homer.
