== History ==
Gummy Sue and her parents attended a hockey game where one of the players was hit and lost a tooth, which flew into the crowd. Cletus caught it and said, "Look! A people tooth!" He gave the tooth to Gummy Sue, sticking it into her mostly-bare gums. Gummy Sue then grinned broadly and said, "Now I's jes' like [[Britney Spears]]!"<ref>"[[Helter Shelter]]"</ref>

While travelling home from [[New York City]], [[Bart]] was saddened by the fact that he might not see [[Mary Spuckler]] again. To cheer him up, [[Cletus]] gave Bart a family picture saying that Mary was "in there somewhere". Gummy Sue could be seen among the other children in the picture.<ref>"[[Moonshine River]]"</ref>
