Book Information
Genre: Bible
First appearance: "Home Sweet Homediddly-Dum-Doodily"

Who Begat Whom is a commentary about the genealogies found in the Bible. The Flanders family own a copy of it, along with many other Bibles and religious books.

History[edit]

When the Flanders family played "Bible Question Bombardment" with the Simpson children, Who Begat Whom was on the shelf along with the family's Bibles and other religious books.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

  • "Begat" is the word used in the King James Version for having children. For that reason, the genealogies in the Bible are commonly referred to in church circles as the "begats".
  • The book could be considered a pun on the AC/DC song "Who Made Who", which came out in 1986.
