Gameplay[edit]
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy[edit]
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy Pt. 1[edit]
After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark:
Snake may have run off for now, but he'll be back. We need to protect the town.
If we want fool-proof, iron-clad protection from those who would harm us, there is really only one thing to do...
Don't say "build a church" don't say "build a church" don't say "build a church"...
We'll build a church! When you're in trouble, nothing screams "Lord, help me first, before those other people!" like a brand new church.
In the old west, we don't build churches. We build Missions.
Missions? Aren't those a little C-c-c-c-c-c-atholic?
Task: Make Saints Build a Mission at the Town Plaza [x3] (30s, Town Plaza) Task: Make Gummy Joe Tell Stories to Mission Builders (1h, Town Plaza)
Would you look at that? There's a Triple Eagle gold coin inside the mission!
Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy Pt. 2[edit]
After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark:
I saw the gold coin first! It's mine!
Any gold found inside the town limits is subject to tax. Also, the Mayor gets to rub said gold against his cheek and call it his precious. Very old law. Very important.
People, we can't come unglued every time we stumble upon an old coin.
Don't listen to her! Come unglued! Youse guys, riot on those guys. I'm going to smash that lamppost with a baseball bat until doing that fixes society.
WHY ARE WE FIGHTING EACH OTHER WHEN SNAKE IS STILL OUT THERE????
Task: Make Lisa Ominously Warn (4h, Town Plaza) Task: Make Springfielders Overreact to Warnings [x5] (4h, Town Plaza) Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy Pt. 3[edit]
After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark:
Principal Skinner, you've got to help defend Springfield against Snake and his outlaw gang!
If you need a hero, Springfield has better options. Disco Stu, for example. Or Crazy Cat Lady. Even Total Coward Dan is significantly braver than me.
Well, you have a gun, don't you? Didn't the NRA sponsor some bill requiring you to be packing any time you're on school grounds?
I can't even smile at a kindergartener unless I'm carrying an anti-tank missile.
Then come with me! And bring any weapons you've got!
Gummy Joe! Will you stand with me?
Why me? I'm old. I'm not that popular. If I disappeared tomorrow, Springfield wouldn't suffer.
BECAUSE you're old. BECAUSE no one likes you. BECAUSE you seem to be around whenever a gold coin turns up.
Rousing words! I'll do it!
Task: Reach Level 12 and Place Bart's Treehouse Task: Make Lisa Convince Skinner to Help (1h, Springfield Elementary, Skinner) Task: Make Bart Convince Gummy Joe to Help (1h, Town Plaza, Gummy Joe) Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy Pt. 4[edit]
After tapping on Snake's exclamation mark:
People of Springfield! The day of, like, reckoning is upon you! Totally.
Tell me where the gold is, and nobody gets hurt.

Why Snake say "nobody get hurt?" Brutus want hurt people.
Brutus, look--

Don't "Brutus, look" Brutus. Terms of Brutus employment very clear: "Brutus shall render people-hurting services to the Snake Gang, Ltd. (hereafter, 'SGL'). Brutus will have--"
I know what the contract says.

BRUTUS NOT FINISHED. "Brutus will have full discretion as to severity and breadth of Brutus people-hurting."

Brutus confused. Contract language seem crystal clear. Maybe Brutus make mistake?
No, no. Technically you're right.

Oh, so good of Snake to tell Brutus he right! When Brutus KNOW he right because Brutus READ CONTRACT.
Okay, everybody. Time out. I need to sort a few things out with my gang.
Task: Make Snake Ready the Henchmen (4h, Town Plaza) Task: Make the Simpsons Prepare for Standoff [x5] (4h, Town Plaza) Task: Make Gummy Joe and Skinner Prepare for Standoff (4h, Town Plaza, Skinner) Task: Collect All Finale Pieces Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency

Wait. What did you just say? You had the gold all along?
Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy Pt. 6[edit]
After tapping on Gummy Joe's exclamation mark:
Sorry I let you think there was a massive pile of gold coins out there to discover.
I just wanted you to build Old Springfield, so your kids could learn valuable frontier skills.
Skills like: tobacco chewin', gun fightin', rattlesnake tossin', "g" droppin' and horse-polishin'.
Fortunately, I'm financially set thanks to the success of Toothless Joe's Gum.
So if you want the gold, take it!
You mean... we're finally going to have the treasure?
Task: Place Frontier Gold Treasure Task: Make Homer Dig Up Frontier Gold Treasure [x2] (3h, Forgotten Gold Treasure)
It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Aside from my wife and kids'... pile of gold, should they ever get one.
Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency
The Gold, the Dad, and the Gummy Pt. 7[edit]
After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark:
Springfield has sure gone through a lot to find this treasure.
And for what? The only currencies valued in Springfield are Donuts, Lattes, and other random items of insignificance.
So... you won't mind if I add it to my mountain of gold?
Or use it to pave the sidewalks of premier property?
I dug it up, it's all mine!
*Sigh*
System Message
The treasure has been found, but the frontier craze hasn't ended. Keep playing to build out Old Springfield!
Quest reward: 100 and 10 Event Currency
The Dirtiest Roads in Springfield[edit]
After the user logs in on May 31st, having not started Once Upon a Time in Springfield Pt. 9, completing Slack-Jawed Yokel Pt. 2 and tapping on Cletus's exclamation mark:
You know, life in a Wild West town isn't so bad! I mean, it ain't not so un-bad, pardner!
Today, a man tipped his hat to me and said, "Morning, ma'am." I'll trade a dramatic uptick in gunfights for a little common courtesy any day!
It ain't no proper town without dirt roads.
On a paved road, what's the blood supposed to soak into? Is we bumpkins, or ain't we?
Task: Place Dirt Quest reward: 100 and 10
Premium gameplay[edit]
Hick and the Beanstalk[edit]
Hick and the Beanstalk Pt. 1[edit]
After tapping on Cletus's exclamation mark:
Hey, Brandine! I's going to the store! You need anythin'?
It's that age-old problem: what do you get the woman who has everythin'?
All the important stuff is taken care of: we got a hovel, a nice uneven dirt floor, plenty of malnutrition for the kids...
Task: Make Cletus Spend the Welfare Check (6h, Sneed's Feed and Seed) Quest reward: 100 and 10
Hick and the Beanstalk Pt. 2[edit]
After tapping on Cletus's exclamation mark:
Hey Brandine! I met a nice feller on the way to market, and I traded all our money for these here magic beans!
Magic beans! That's how all kinds of stories start. I wonder what our adventure will be?
Prolly somethin' dumb like a goose what poops gold, and then we'll steal it and be set for life or whatever.
Yeah, just our luck.
Yeah. Well, at least it'll be somethin' to do. Magic, adventure, and cloud-based, giant-run goose farms, here we come.
Task: Make Cletus Care for Bean (4h, Cletus's Farm) Quest reward: 100 and 10
Hick and the Beanstalk Pt. 3[edit]
After tapping on Cletus's exclamation mark:
How come we ain't got a magic beanstalk growin' up to Heaven yet?
It would seem that I have erred. 'Stead of plantin' the beans, I went and ate them.
No high-altitude adventure for the Spuckler clan, I guess. I woulda liked some of them beans to eat myself, though.
Well, I CAN end this disappointing false start of a story with a deeply disturbing mission that will appease everyone's hunger.
Sinking to a new low, I bring you: "Cletus regurgitates food into the mouths of his loved ones." Oof.
Task: Make Cletus Regurgitate Food Like A Bird (2h, Cletus's Farm) Quest reward: 100 and 10
Drool Grit[edit]
Drool Grit Pt. 1[edit]
After tapping on Maggie's exclamation mark:
Maggie, you look so cute! All dressed up for a life of backwardness and constant struggle!
*suck* *suck*
No, you CAN'T go out to play with your animal friends. And yes, I KNOW you did it once before.
But I choose to believe that storyline was a fantasy sequence.
*suck* *suck* *suck-suck suck suck-suck-suck SUCK suck*
Oh, how would YOU know what's real? You're a baby.
Let's do a real frontier mommy-daughter activity. Let's churn some butter!
I'm tired of feeding my family processed food. Now I can make healthy, unprocessed butter by processing milk in this butter churn!
I won't miss this ten-pound tub of Land-O-Lard butter, I can tell you that!

After tapping on Maggie's exclamation mark:
Oh my... oh my stars, churning butter is... horrible. So dull... and painful...
Old-timey people... such idiots. Can see why they... went extinct.
Maggie, Mommy needs to lie down. Just... watch TV or something...

Why did you do it, Maggie? Why did you run away?
*suck* *suck suck suck*
What did she say, Marge?
I couldn't make it out. She must be distraught -- she's sucking nonsense.

Well, I'm going to make sure she can never run away again!

Mom's got this house locked up tight as a drum. I spent all night trying to sneak out.
The important thing is you tried, and I'm proud of you.
What? Why?
Well, I'm not really proud. But I think that's what good parents say to their kids.
Thought I'd throw the "p-word" out there one time. You know, for a goof.
*cries*

Face it, Marge. Maggie is a creature of the forest. And we just have to be proud of her.
"Proud?" Why?
CAN EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP AND LET ME BE AN EXCELLENT PARENT?
Geez, sorry. Settle down.
No, I should apologize. I'm sorry I got proud of my kids. It'll never happen again.
Now run along and play with your rabid buddies, Maggie!

Some Assembly Required[edit]
Some Assembly Required Pt. 1[edit]
After unlocking Blacksmith:
A blacksmith shop? I thought blacksmiths were hunted to extinction years ago.
Hello? Smithing has made a major comeback.
People feel drawn to the ancient crafts. As a way to reconnect with one's ancestral heritage.
Yeah, it's a great way to make lopsided fireplace pokers with just six days of back-breaking work.
Still others saw genius billionaire Tony Stark make his Iron Man suit and said: "That looks easy!" Fools.
"Genius?" "Billionaire?" You just described the man I see in the mirror every day. To the anvil!
Task: Build the Blacksmith Task: Make Homer Smith an Iron Suit (8h, Blacksmith) Quest reward: 100 and 10
Some Assembly Required Pt. 2[edit]
After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark:
That's a nice... helmet? Salad bowl? What exactly did you make?
I dunno. But I burned 100 pounds of coal into the atmosphere, so SOMETHING must have been accomplished.
On behalf of future generations, thanks a bunch.
You're welcome, sweetie. Another plus -- blacksmithing is a great workout for one of my arms!
Face it, Dad. If you want to build a flying suit, you need to understand metallurgy, rocket science--
OR... I could use a heavier hammer.
No, that won't.... Ah, forget it.
Task: Make Homer Use a Heavier Hammer (6h, Blacksmith) Quest reward: 100 and 10
Some Assembly Required Pt. 3[edit]
After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark:
Well, the Homer Man Mach 2 is off to a great start!
Check. Me. Out.
All I see is a big doof with metal underwear for a hat!
You'll see. One more night at the forge and the rest of my ensemble will be completed.
Task: Make Homer Finish His Masterpiece (12h, Blacksmith)
Behold! A great warrior for truth and justice is born! He wields a mighty hammer called, uh, Blargnak.
You just painted thunderbolts on the side of the blacksmith's hammer.
That's how you know it's mighty, silly.
What about my amazing power suit? Crafted by a master smith, it gives me nearly-unlimited abilities!
Abilities like, uh, thought rays and thunder breath and.... death... whistles...uh....
I look dumb, don't I?
It's not great.
Dammit. I think I welded this stupid thing to my head.
Quest reward: 100 and 10
Skinner Unchained[edit]
Skinner Unchained Pt. 1[edit]
After unlocking Longshot Skinner:
The halls are empty today.

Truancy is a disease. And Longshot Skinner is the cure.
Time to saddle up. Cue the music.

SKIN-NER! I THINK HE SHOT NELSON.
SKIN-NER! MY GOD, IS THAT LEGAL?
SOMEONE, PLEASE CALL THE POLICE.
SERIOUSLY, SKINNER IS A DANGER TO HIMSELF, THE TOWN, AND EVERYONE IN IT.
Stop the music! Seymour Skinner! Throw down the six-shooters and back away from the horse.
Name's Longshot. And we're on school property. This is MY jurisdiction.
Snap out of it, Seymour! God, I hope this is some kind of dream sequence...
Task: Make Wiggum Call in Backup (2h, Police Station) Quest reward: 100 and 10

Carl's Boy Vs. Aliens[edit]
Carl's Boy Vs. Aliens Pt. 1[edit]
After unlocking Carl's Dad Caverns :
How come I never noticed this cave complex before: "Carl's Dad Caverns?"
What a coincidence -- Carl, YOU have Dad named Carl's Dad!
They're named after my biological father. He disappeared in there years ago.
I don't talk about it. Partly because it's painful, but mostly because knowing stuff other people don't makes me feel like a big man.
I understand. I swear I won't dig into your past.
Task: Make Homer Dig Into Carl's Past (2h, Simpson House) Quest reward: 100 and 10
Carl's Boy Vs. Aliens Pt. 2[edit]
After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark:
Lisa, I found something!
It's a newspaper article. It says that Carl's father was an "eccentric alien conspiracy theorist."

He claimed aliens had established a forward listening post in the Caverns. They put him on the Registered Nutjobs List!
Nutjobs are the worst kind of registered offenders there are.
Well, he WASN'T crazy. Aliens ARE here. We bump into Kang and Kodos in the street all the time.
We need to get Carl's Dad removed from that awful registry!
Task: Make Lisa Petition the Nutso Registry (1h, Simpson House) Quest reward: 100 and 10

Carl's Boy Vs. Aliens Pt. 3[edit]
After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark:
Good news, Carl! We got your dad off the nutjob list!
That's great, Lisa. Wish I could tell him in person.
You never went to look for him in the caves, Carl?
I wanted to. More than anything. But we live in a Golden Age of TV. I just couldn't get behind on my shows.
Uh... I GUESS I understand. But if it's that important to you, shouldn't we all go look for him?
It'd kill some time, I suppose. Also, you know, it's super-important to me on an emotional level.
Task: Make Lisa Search Carl's Dad Caverns With Homer (1h, Carl's Dad Caverns, Homer) If the user has Carl: Task: Make Carl Search Carl's Dad Caverns (1h, Carl's Dad Caverns) Quest reward: 100 and 10

Carl's Boy Vs. Aliens Pt. 4[edit]
After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark:
Look at all this hyper-advanced alien technology -- blown-glass pipes, grow lamps, hydroponic kits...
Greetings, puny humans! Peace and love.
Where's my father? You used all this medical equipment to conduct bizarre experiments on him, didn't you?
Chill your inferior intellect! It's all good, my man. Your father, before he left, introduced us to a very special leaf.
It helps our... glaucoma. (*snorting laughter*)
Yeah, we've got really bad glaucoma. The worst.
The equipment you see is for the growing and enjoyment of this miracle leaf.
Ohhhhhhhhhh. I get it.
Lisa, us adults are going to talk about this some more. You know the way out right?
Oh, no. If it's true what they say about this "leaf," I do NOT need you getting any dumber. Come on.
Task: Make Homer Leave the Cave With Lisa (4h, Simpson House, Lisa) If the user has Carl: Task: Make Carl Treat His "Glaucoma" (4h, Carl's Dad Caverns) If the user has Kang and Kodos: Task: Make Rigelians Treat Their "Glaucoma" (4h, Carl's Dad Caverns) Quest reward: 100 and 10
