The Samaritan Pentateuch is a translation of the Bible, one of many which the Flanders family own.

When the Flanders family played "Bible Question Bombardment" with the Simpson children, the Samaritan Pentateuch was on the shelf along with the Flanderses' other Bibles.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

  • "Pentateuch" is a term for the first five books of the Old Testament, which are also referred to as the Torah.
  • The Samaritans are a people group related to the Jews. One of the main religious differences between the two groups is that the Samaritans only accept the Pentateuch as being Scripture.
