Foreign comics
Linking policy
Okay, I think we need to start a discussion on comics. In particular, foreign comics. I think this is how it should be done:

*English language comics get articles for the series and each issue. This will include releases in the US, UK and Australia. And any other country with English releases.

*Foreign countries should just get an article like "Simpsons Comics in Country". This will list the series in the country, how many issues of that series are released etc. but they will not have separate articles for each comic issue.

The reasoning behind this is that this is an English language wiki. Whilst it is okay to have some articles about foreign media, we shouldn't have a whole load of them. <span style="font-family:Algerian"><span style="color:green">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:blue">Dragon</span></span> 07:15, December 7, 2015 (EST)

There are tons of episode/Quotes pages (see :Category:Quotes) where linking differs from other pages:

:If it helps ... When I work on Quotes pages, I generally link a character's name in its first occurrence in a block of dialogue. A good example is Lisa the Vegetarian/Quotes. This can result in every character name, or almost character every name, being linked if the quotes page consists largely of one-liners. For that reason, plus the fact that having too many links tends to make a Quotes page look cluttered (IMO), when I build a Quotes page I try to avoid one-liners and instead have at least three or four lines in each block of dialogue. This can result in the block division being a bit arbitrary, as I may end up having to split the blocks wherever it "feels" right instead of going by hard-and-fast rules. An example of a Quotes page where I had to take that approach is The Man of the House/Quotes. Okay. It seems I may uniform the quotes pages. Decade ago I had a bot editing the big Wikipedia. I think it will be useful again after same facelifting. Are there any special policies with bots here? Okay, this has been bugging me for some time. I think it's time to define some proper guidelines about this page. This is what I think should be done about it:

#Only nudity is listed. No semi-nudity (no underwear, diapers etc.)

#Half nudity should also not be included. No male toplessness for example.

#Listing when a buttcrack is shown is not nudity. That happens from time to time in real life too. It's not counted as nudity.

This makes me feel dirty for having to bring all this up... urgh... but this page really needs to be defined properly. <span style="font-family:Algerian"><span style="color:green">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:blue">Dragon</span></span> 07:15, December 7, 2015 (EST)

Dear Wikisimpsons users,

"Weekly" to-do list
+
For some days I've been using and improving a custom Wikisimpsons.css skin (shown in the picture). The wiki has been using the yellow theme for quite some time and I'm aware that color is part of its essence. I wanted, however, to try this new alternative which I found acceptable enough to make this proposal for an update of the wiki skin.
I think we should have an "official" to-do list for every new episode. It would probably help so some pages aren't forgotten to be updated, like the list of chalkboard gags. I've made a list of things to complete here: User:FatHomer/Sandbox. There are probably more things that could be added to it, and you're welcome to edit it if you have anything in mind. <b><span style="color: teal">FatHomer</span></b>Talk 12:09, February 17, 2016 (EST)

:I'm not too sure on that. If someone wants to update episode articles, go ahead. Having a list won't make people want to. Everyone knows what needs to be done by looking at the articles. <span style="font-family:Algerian"><span style="color:green">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:blue">Dragon</span></span> 14:00, February 17, 2016 (EST)

I would appreciate it if you could give it a try by copying this code and pasting it in USERNAME/wikisimpsons.css, and then surfing the wiki a little bit to check it out. You can return, of course, to the normal skin by deleting the pasted code and leaving a blank page.

The skin could be easily adapted to Christmas and Halloween themes by using the files Simp2 Christmas.png and Halloween bg.png.
