Wikipedialink

Hey. For Wikipedia links that aren't the pagename, you can put the name in manually, like this: {{Wikipedialink|Kaiser Williams}}. Thought it might save you some time in the future.--Cook879 18:15, 14 April 2012 (EDT)

Please don't bug me, i just got new furniture.—Preceding unsigned comment added by LisaLovr2000 (talkcontribs) 18:22, 14 April 2012

I would also suggest reading Wikisimpsons:Signature as this tells you how to make your signature within our guidelines. Thanks, SolarDragonName.png (Talk - Contribs.) 18:47, 14 April 2012 (EDT)
Your signature HAS to include a link to your user page. Please add one. | SimpsonsFR.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFD.pngSimpsonsFO.pngSimpsonsFM.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFO.png | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 02:45, 20 April 2012 (EDT)

Flags

Hi, please use images of places from The Simpsons, not real world images. We are a Simpsons wiki, and our main image should be Simpsons ones. Thanks, | SimpsonsFR.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFD.pngSimpsonsFO.pngSimpsonsFM.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFO.png | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 03:14, 2 May 2012 (EDT)

why? (LiSaLoVr2OoO 22:17, 2 May 2012 (EDT)
I said. If you go to Wikipedia, of course, they will have images from the real world. But this is a Simpsons wiki, so Simpsons images should go first, real world images second. Any more questions? | SimpsonsFR.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFD.pngSimpsonsFO.pngSimpsonsFM.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFO.png | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 01:25, 3 May 2012 (EDT)

it sounds ridiculous, i want people to see the flags of countries so they get the point, is that what you want? (LiSaLoVr2OoO 20:02, 3 May 2012 (EDT)

We want people to see images of said countries that are from the episode. Like Randomno said, we are a Simpsons wiki, so images should come from within the show. If you can find an image of a flag from within the show, by all means upload it. Also, I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by " so they get the point". Could you elaborate, please? --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 22:05, 3 May 2012 (EDT)

I meant so that people know the design if the flag in case they don't know what the design is and they don't go on Wikipedia or image sources (LiSaLoVr2OoO 20:01, 5 May 2012 (EDT)

Ok, I see. However, if someone really wanted to know what a country's flag looked like, it wouldn't be that much trouble to look on Wikipedia. That's why we include a Wikipedia link on every country's page, so if a user wants to know more about that country they can just click the link. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 01:18, 6 May 2012 (EDT)

Tip

Hi, I noticed you made a string of edits on the Waverly Hills 9-0-2-1-D'oh episode page. When you are editing there are two buttons that say "preview". You can click on these to see what your edit will look like when you save the page. This way you won't have to make so many edits to fix a single mistake. Happy editing! :) --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 00:39, 19 June 2012 (EDT)

i did use preview {LiSaLoVr2OoO 01:59, 21 June 2012 (EDT)}

Signature

Hi, could you please change your signature so that it it goes with our policy, WS:Sig, please. It should contain a link to your user page at least. You can change this in your preferences. Thanks, Solar Dragon (Talk Contribs.) 04:24, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

it's so hard to find a proper singnature template {LiSaLoVr2OoO 17:54, 21 June 2012 (EDT)}

Ask Randomno if he can make you one. He did mine.--Cook879 17:57, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

"Dylan" image

According to our article, Dylan was only mentioned. Are you sure that's a picture of him? The Solar Dragon 16:31, 28 June 2012 (EDT)

looks like a Dylan {LiSaLoVr2OoO 16:32, 28 June 2012 (EDT)}

Urm... that's not a good enough reason to assume that it's Dylan. Is it mentioned at all that that specific person is Dylan? If not, I will have to remove the image. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.)☆ 16:34, 28 June 2012 (EDT)

well, i could have thought it was Dylan, i was just guessing because Dylan is only a boy's name, why would the writers confuse me, please give the photo a chance, the carrot cake might have been Dylan's favorite snack, that's why i thought the kid who ate the carrot cake was Dylan {LiSaLoVr2OoO 16:36, 28 June 2012 (EDT)}

Urm... yeah, that's an assumption and one that is not backed up by the show. Even if carrot cake was his favourite snack, he may not have been eating it. So I'm going to have to remove the image I'm afraid as there is a good chance it's not an image of Dylan. The Solar Dragon 16:40, 28 June 2012 (EDT)

Made-up information

Hi. You seem to add a lot of made-up information to articles, such as your last edit to VHS Village. Please do not add any more made-up information to articles here. If you want to make fanon articles, we have a fanon:|Fanon Wiki which you are free to make any type of fanon on. If you continue to add false information here, I, or another admin, may be forced to block you. This is your final warning. Thank you, ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.)☆ 04:26, 17 July 2012 (EDT)

but their stuff is shit {LiSaLoVr2OoO 14:41, 17 July 2012 (EDT)}

Well, add better stuff on Fanon then... The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 15:05, 17 July 2012 (EDT)

what swear words do you prohibit in this wiki? {LiSaLoVr2OoO 15:22, 17 July 2012 (EDT)}

Wikisimpsons is uncensored. We allow the use of any swear words within reason. We do not allow users abusively swearing at each other though. The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 16:16, 17 July 2012 (EDT)

Real-World Characters and Deceased Status

Hi, just an FYI on applying the "Deceased" status to real-world characters (such as Ernest Borgnine): They aren't considered deceased in-universe unless and until that status is established in the context of the show, even in the event of the passing of their real-life counterparts (Ernest Borgnine, again, being an example). Thanks. -- Mythigator 03:33, 23 July 2012 (EDT)

Renaming articles

Hi, if you think that an article should be renamed, please bring this up on the talk page, don't just do it (unless there is an error with the name or the name is just obviously wrong). Thanks, The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 04:31, 3 August 2012 (EDT)

Deceased status

Hi, regarding your edit to the Kim Jong-il article, please read Wikisimpsons:Character statuses. He was last seen/mentioned to be alive in The Simpsons so that is his status. His being dead in real life has no impact on his status within the show unless otherwise stated. Thanks, ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 17:38, 25 October 2012 (EDT)

Character statuses

Hi, please read Wikisimpsons:Character statuses. It has a few rules on when a character is deceased on the show or not, including people who have died in real life. Thanks, The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 03:12, 27 January 2013 (EST)
