In-universe articles

Hi, on Wikisimpsons we write content on most pages like it's real, i.e. we don't write "In Episode X, this happened". Instead, we use references to reference the content, so we'd write "This happened"<ref>"[[Episode X]]"</ref>. See the changes I made to the Cesar and Ugolin articles to see what I mean. Thanks, The Solar Dragon 14:04, July 4, 2016 (EDT)

Episode articles

Hi. We have a 'style guide' for Episode articles (see the sidebar). Also, we have tabs for each episode that lead to different things of the Episode (appearances, references/trivia,...). Thanks. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 04:06, July 6, 2016 (EDT)

French characters

Hi, I think the French characters category should only be used for French characters and first degree immigrants. The descended Bouvier family are American, no longer French. The Solar Dragon 18:20, August 21, 2016 (EDT)

Featured article page

Two things ...

  1. Please don't edit other people's comments.
  2. If you support an article's receiving featured status, don't just update the number by "Support". Give a reason why!

Thank you ... -- Mythigator (talk) 18:19, August 22, 2016 (EDT)

Character Status

Hello again! Please don't change a real-world character's status to deceased unless the character's death is established in-universe. The Character status article provides some examples at the end. In the specific case of Prince (the edit that was just reverted}, he is dead in real life. However, he was seen alive in a canon episode and there has been no canon reference to his passing, so the status of his character remains "Alive". Prince has been shown dead or being killed in a couple of Treehouse of Horror episodes, but as those are non-canon references, his canon appearance wins out. If Prince's only appearances were in the THOH episodes, his status would be "Non-canon deceased", similar to Taylor Swift. Thank you and hope that helps! -- Mythigator (talk) 13:56, December 19, 2016 (EST)
