Us vs. Them is a Simpsons Illustrated comic story first printed in Simpsons Illustrated #6.

Plot

The boys in Edna's class are playing with the class ant farm when Mr. Skibbins comes in to talk about the Wood Weasels. After 90 minutes, the boys are tired of listening to Skibbins so they decide to make him shut up. The ants then climb out of their farm and start climbing up Bart's body, which makes him yell so Homer becomes the group leader.

The first night of camp, Homer takes Barney with him. When they arrive at the forest, Homer doesn't know what to do and is tired of the kids always wanting his attention. That night Homer talks to Barney, and they get an idea about how to get the children busy the next day. The next morning, Homer tells the kids to find a smoke shifter, bacon stretcher, cloud hook, left handed monkey wrench, and a bottle of dehydrated water. At midnight the kids come back empty-handed and when Homer and Barney laugh at them, they realize they have been tricked.

The children decide to get revenge on their leaders. That night they make a trail of food from an anthill to the leaders' tent, and Homer and Barney see the ants in their tent. Homer and Barney run out of their tent, and Bart tells his friends that it is time for the retaliation merit badge class.
