The Uter Bomber is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #33.
Synopsis
Bart uses Üter as a weight to launch water balloons from a seesaw and has a great time until Lisa tells him he's using math and physics.
Plot
During recess at Springfield Elementary School, Bart is playing with the seesaw and a water balloon, intending to use the seesaw as a "space catapult" to launch the water balloon into orbit. He places the water balloon on the lower end of the seesaw, then climbs atop a picnic table near the other end. He jumps off the picnic table, lands squarely on the seesaw, and triumphantly cries "We have lift off!" as the balloon flies into the air. Bart's triumph is quickly dashed, however, as the balloon, instead of soaring into orbit, quickly comes back down and hits him on the head.
Soaked but thoughtful, Bart assesses the failure: "Obviously I need something heavier at this end." He then notices Üter walking by, eating a pastry. Bart offers him a cookie if he'll jump onto the seesaw. Üter agrees and Bart sets up another balloon. With Üter making the jump, the balloon flies a long way across the playground and narrowly misses Lisa.
Bart gives Üter his cookie, and it dawns on him that the heavier the person making the jump is, the farther the balloon will travel. With this realization, Bart offers Üter his entire lunch, and Wendell's as well, which is okay with Wendell as he was feeling nauseous and wasn't going to eat it. While Üter eats, Bart begins setting up another water balloon on the seesaw.
Just then, Lisa comes along and says she noticed Bart "analyzing the relationships among force, position, velocity and acceleration". Bart is flabbergasted, and Lisa explains that his catapult is using the physics of projectile motion to launch objects through space. She then completes her thought by saying that it's nice to see him having fun with math.
At this, Bart is utterly dismayed. He gags in disgust, then tosses the water balloon over his shoulder and walks away in a huff. Üter, now nearly finished eating, asks Bart where he's going, and Lisa chuckles to herself at having spoiled Bart's fun: "Heh, heh! I just took the fizz out of his physics!"
