Canonicity of the episode

Is this episode "canon" or "non-canon"? It references the episode "The Principal and the Pauper", which is, according to its article, "non-canon". So, is this episode "canon" or "non-canon"? And, if "The Principal and the Pauper" is "non-canon", why isn't it listed in the 'list' of "non-canon" media? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 15:30, September 5, 2015 (EDT)

Principal and the Pauper is non-canon, as confirmed by Al Jean. And the reference to it can be shrugged off as there have been references to other non-canon episodes in canon episodes. i.e. Kang and Kodos showing up in non-THOH episodes, the golem showing up in the loft in The Color Yellow and possibly some others I can't remember right now.
