Stephen Sondheim is an American musician.

History

Krusty the Clown hired Stephen Sondheim to write songs for the Spuckler children. Sondheim wrote a song with complex harmonies, intricate lyrics and pithy observations on modern life, which Krusty hated. Krusty then told Sondheim to do what he did in Cats, which Sondheim said he didn't write, to Krusty;s dismay. Krusty then told Sondheim to play a peppy vamp on the piano. Whilst playing the vamp, Sondheim decided to write a jingle for Buzz Cola.
