Steamed Hams is a meme originating from the season 7 episode "22 Short Films About Springfield". The meme focuses on the segment of Principal Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers.
In an upcoming season 32 episode, there will be a Skinner/Chalmers road trip episode with a Steamed Hams reference.[1]
History
In January 2018, Bill Oakley, who wrote the "Steamed Hams" segment, tweeted an image of the first draft of the Steamed Hams segment with the caption "Steamed Hams, but it's the original first draft in a thread". Since then, people have started modifying versions of the "Steamed Hams" with the caption "Steamed Hams, but-" with what it is following. i.e. "Steamed Hams but it's a Pokémon Battle".
