The fifteenth season of "The Simpsons" ran from November 2nd, 2003 to May 23rd, 2004. The DVD was released in the USA and Canada on December 4th, 2012, released in Europe on December 3rd, 2012, and released in Latin America on December 12th, 2012. The fifteenth season began with the episode "Treehouse of Horror XIV" and ended with "Fraudcast News".

To help out, Marge gives the kids verbal anecdotes about historical figures including tales of King Henry VIII, Sacagawea's assistance to the Lewis and Clark Expedition and a very Bart-like Mozart feuding with his sister Salieri.

Bart is heartbroken when Milhouse and his mother move away to Capital City. Desperate to fill Milhouse's shoes, Bart attempts to find a new best friend with no such luck. That is, until Marge asks him to wash the family car with Lisa, and the two have so much fun they begin to do everything together as best friends would. Later, Bart decides to pay Milhouse a visit and is shocked to see his once meek best friend has reinvented himself. The new Milhouse sports spiked blond hair, is popular and even gives Bart a wedgie in the halls at school. Meanwhile, Homer pretends to be poor to get money off strangers.

Skinner shows up at the convention in a last, desperate attempt to fight Comic Book Guy for Edna's heart.

When Homer admits that Marge was not his first kiss, he recounts the story of his first smooch at summer camp with an anonymous girl - who turns out to be Marge! Following their first kiss, young Homer and Marge planned to meet again, but Homer accidentally returned to the wrong camp and wound up at Camp Flab-Away - a fat camp for young boys. Marge admits to Homer that believing her first kiss had stood her up caused her 30 years of heartbreak. But soon they discover something from their past that proves their love was destined.

When Bart accidentally 'moons' the American flag at a school function and Homer says he hates America on national TV, the Simpsons are labeled as unpatriotic and are arrested for high treason. They then embark on a cross-country mission to the nation's capital to prove they love America.

After Mr. Burns is erroneously reported as dead, the Springfield newspapers write scathing articles about him. In order to put an end to his negative public image, he buys all the media outlets in an effort to brainwash the citizens of Springfield. Lisa Simpson decides to start her own paper, "The Red Dress Press", and writes an article about Mr. Burns' manipulation. Furious, Mr. Burns attempts to squash Lisa's paper but she refuses to go quietly.
