An unnamed salesman works at Pool Sharks.

Description[edit]

The salesman doesn't consider himself to really be a salesman; instead, playing keyboards is what he feels to be his real job. Consistent with his musician occupation, he wears his hair long and puts it in a ponytail.

History[edit]

When the Simpson family were shopping for a swimming pool, they went to Pool Sharks. The salesman showed them the various models of above-ground pools in the outdoor display: "Over here we have the Hick Tub, the Insta-Rust, that's the Lightning Magnet, that's the Tinkler—" At that point Homer cut the salesman off, saying that he liked the sound of the Tinkler and that they would take that one. Marge then asked if it was true that they needed to wait an hour after eating before going in. After a brief pause, the salesman replied, "Look, question lady. This job is not what I really do, OK? I play keyboards."
