Plácido Domingo is a famous Spanish opera singer, one of the Three Tenors. He guest starred as himself in the season 19 episode The Homer of Seville.

Domingo commented that Dan Castellaneta had impressive operatic voice, doing all of Homer's singing instead the common practice of having a professional singer "step in" for the singing part.
