Mitch Albom is a journalist and best-selling author. His most famous works include Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, For One More Day, and Have a Little Faith. Tuesdays with Morrie was later turned into a television movie where Simpsons voice actor Hank Azaria portrayed Albom.

On The Simpsons, Albom appeared as himself in the episode "Thursdays with Abie".
