Mitch Albom is a best-selling novelist and author. His most famous works include Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, For One More Day, and Have a Little Faith. The first of these was later turned into a television movie where Simpsons voice actor Hank Azaria portrayed Albom.

Albom appeared as himself in the episode Thursdays with Abie.
