Missouri is one of the 50 states in the US. Its capital is Jefferson City and largest city is Kansas City.

History

Homer and Marge went to the Bowler's Hall of Fame in St. Louis, Missouri to see a car shaped like a giant bowling pin.[1]

Bart, Milhouse, Nelson and Martin once drove through Branson, where Nelson forced them to stop so that they could see a show with Andy Williams.[2]

After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[3]

In a story told by Marge, the Lewis and Clark expedition passed through St. Louis, Missouri.[4]

The Waters, a fictional family from the television show Thicker than Waters, are shown to live in St. Louis. During the show's opening sequence, the family is seen flying a kite that gets caught on the Gateway Arch.[5]

Superintendent Chalmers and Principal Skinner drove through Missouri on the way to Cincinnati. They got arrested and put on trial in Conklin, Missouri.[6]
