| Fox held off "Blood Feud" to boost the ratings of the season two premiere of Beverly Hills 90210. Regardless, "Three Men and a Comic Book" remains the official season two finale, as originally advertised, and the network still considers "Blood Feud" a part of season two (as an encore episode).

| "Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes?" was originally scheduled for broadcast in Season 4. Fox however chose to run the episode prior, as a special summer original, to boost the series premiere of Martin. "Bart's Friend Falls in Love" remains the true Season 3 finale, with "Kamp Krusty" serving as the fourth season premiere. While "Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes?" is still considered a part of season four by Fox, the producers and syndicators list it with season three.

Despite this, "Lard of the Dance" remains a part of season ten.
