The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American independence. It is recognizable for its crack and located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania originally in the steeple of Independence Hall and now in a park across the street.

History
The Springfield advertisement for the new statue of Jebediah Springfield shows iconic US places such as the Washington Monument seen from the Capitol (Washington, D.C.), Lincoln Memorial (Washington, D.C.), the Liberty Bell (Philadelphia), Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Arlington) and Mount Rushmore (South Dakota).[1]
A young boy in Queens, New York who unsuccessfully competed in Reading Digest's Patriots of Tomorrow Essay Contest read aloud his cliché-ridden essay Ding, Dong (The Sounds of the Liberty Bell). The Liberty Bell is also seen on a map of the United States as a symbol for Pennsylvania.[2]
The Liberty Bell is among the symbols used in Scratch 'n' Win scratch tickets sold at Kwik-E-Mart.[3][4]
