When Homer catches up, he chats with the driver [[Max]], who reveals that Homer is his best customer. Homer buys an ice cream and asks for change from a hundred dollar bill. As the ice cream man dispenses the change, quarters at a time, he has a heart attack and then dies, to Homer's horror.

Homer races back home, driving down the side of a hill to escape traffic. The van loses control and tears through most of Marge's sculptures, finally smashing into a tree. Marge is furious and says that Homer couldn't stand that she was a success, Homer says it was an accident but she refuses to believe him. Homer spends most of the night stood by the bedroom door trying to convince her that he is sorry.

Ice Cream of Margie (With the Light Blue Hair) is the seventh episode of the eighteenth season. It originally aired on November 26, 2006.

Synopsis

"Homer is given an ice-cream van in memory of a ice-cream man, and becomes a tyrant to the community. Meanwhile, Marge finds a useful use for leftover ice-cream sticks - building sculptures of people in Springfield. The relationship between them hits a bump in the road when Homer crashes into Marge's sculptures, and Marge won't forgive him, whatever he tries."
