Girlie is a pornographic magazine that Apu has for sale at the Kwik-E-Mart.
History
Girlie was one of the products included in a Christmas promotion at the Kwik-E-Mart. In the advertising circular, Apu included a picture of the magazine's cover, with the caption "For the Grown-Ups: Naughty magazines with naked ladies!" Below the picture, another caption read, "Nothing at all to do with Christmas, but we've got them!"
Description
The cover of the issue of Girlie shown in the advertising circular has a picture of a woman who is nude, or at least topless, with the picture strategically framed to show only her head, shoulders and the upper portion of her breasts. From her pose, it is also possible that she has her arms placed to leave her breasts only partially visible.
Behind the Laughter
- The magazine's title is a reference to "girlie magazine" being a common slang term for pornographic magazines.
