From Reinmania with Luv, Baby! is a Radioactive Man story first printed in Radioactive Man #136.
Synopsis
- "It's 1966 and the Atomic Avenger must battle his way through would-be assassins, frolicsome beach parties, biker gangs, teen crushes and anti-royalist spies to defend a visiting princess. But the Nuclear Knight and his trusty sidekick, Fallout Boy are about to face the greatest challenge of their crimefighting careers."
Plot
Radioactive Man is in Reinmania where he has saved the life of King Altrox. Radioactive Man then saves the king from another assassination attempt, hurting the king in the process. King Altrox asks Radioactive Man to look after his daughter, Princess Paula Altrox, who is going to America on a student exchange program. Radioactive Man doesn't want to leave the king since he's in danger, but comes up with an idea.
In Zenith City, Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy stop a bank robbery, whilst Radioactive Man flirted with the bank teller. The next day, at Zenith High School, Paula Altrox was introduced to Rod Runtledge's class by Miss Grossman. Miss Grossman tasks Rod with getting Paula caught up on her studies. Later that day, in the park, Paula and Rod are attacked by Miskeit, Paula's uncle. Miskeit reveals that he's part of a group called M.A.N.N., who want to take down royalty and replace them with a police state. Claude Kane III then knocks Miskeit unconscious and takes Paula back to the Reinmanian Embassy.
That weekend, Rod takes Paula to the beach to relax. At the beach, Radioactive Man shows up and shows off his dance moves. As that was happening, a bike gang called the Rodents attacked and kidnapped Paula. Fallout Boy jumped to her rescue as Radioactive Man was too busy dancing. As Rod is fighting the bikers, Radioactive Man shows up and helps. He then lets Fallout Boy go and rescue Paula from the last biker. They then go back to the beach where it is revealed that the dancing Radioactive Man is actually a robot, one that Radioactive Man set up to protect Paula whilst he protected the King. King Altrox sent Radioactive Man back to Zenith City because he feared that Radioactive Man will accidentally kill him whilst trying to save him.
The next month, Paula takes the Radioactive Man robot to the school prom, to the disappointment of Fallout Boy.
