Digby "Diggs" is a recent transfer student to Springfield Elementary School and an aspiring champion in the niche sport of falconry.
History
When Bart was being bullied by Jimbo, Dolph and Kearney, Freedom, Diggs' falcon, swooped down and attacked them. Diggs revealed to Bart that he transferred to Springfield Elementary a few months ago. Diggs tells Bart that he brought the Springfield Elementary Falconry Club back and enjoyed being alone, so Bart decided to join the club too.
Diggs teaches Bart all about falconry and Bart eventually starts to bond with both Diggs and Freedom. Eventually, Diggs decides to see if he can fly as well and leaps from a tree, falling to the ground and getting badly hurt. In hospital, he is then seen by a psychiatrist and then gets transferred to a mental hospital.
