"Convenience Airways" is the eighth episode of season 36 of The Simpsons and the seven-hundred and seventy-sixth episode overall. It will air on December 8, 2024. The episode was written by Loni Steele Sosthand and directed by Rob Oliver. It guest stars John Early as Joel and John Pirruccello as Warren Wingspan.[2][4]
Synopsis
- "The Simpsons are trapped on a flight with the most unruly passengers in America.[2]"
It's the closest The Simpsons has ever come to doing a bottle episode. It's not a "standing set", (i.e., Moe's), and there's several guest characters, but it mostly takes place on a jetliner, a la Con Air, Flightplan, Non-Stop.[5]
