Bob Dole was a candidate running against Bill Clinton for president.

History

Bob Dole read from the Necronomicon at a Springfield Republican Party meeting.[1]

Bob Dole tried to replace Springfield's local congressman, Horace Willcox when he died, but Krusty got the job instead.[2]

When Homer was spending more time at home, he changed the title page of Bob Dole's memoirs to "Hey Marge, What Are You Reading?".[3]

Non-canon

Bob Dole was running against Bill Clinton in the 1996 presidential election. Shortly before the election, Kang and Kodos started to invade Earth and abducted Clinton and Dole before assuming their identities. The two of them then continued their campaigns until they were eventually unmasked by Homer. However, since the American democracy system is basically a two-party system, the people had to vote for one of them and Kang won.[4]
