Bill Clinton had contact with the Simpsons family and visited Springfield various times. His most notable encounter with the Simpsons was when he answered Lisa Simpson's complaint about a band contest, in which Lisa's band was beaten by the band of another school which used an illegal tactic but still won.[2]
