Bart Simpson's Creepy Crawly Tales "The Collector" is the secondary story in Simpsons Comics #1.

Synopsis

The Collector is trapped in his own comic vault.

Plot

The Collector's butler, Smedley, leaves to visit his aging mother, leaving him alone. The climate control in his comic vault malfunctions and he attempts to fix it himself. His dog causes the vault door to slam shut on him, trapping him inside. The climate control begins dropping and he must burn his treasured comic book collection to survive. By doing this, he goes psychotic.
