Aquatraz Water Park is a water park in Springfield.

History

The Simpson family visited the water park, against Lisa's will. Lisa ended up getting upset about the poor treatment of the animals there, in particular Shame-u the killer whale. Lisa then got angry at the employees, causing the family to get kicked out.

Lisa, Bart and Groundskeeper Willie then went to Aquatraz again to rescue Shame-u from captivity. They successfully broke in and released Shame-u, which gave Bart a newfound respect for altruism.

Behind the Laughter

The name of Aquatraz Water Park is a reference to the prison Alcatraz Island.
