History

Dan Rather, along with Tom Brokaw, were teasing Kent Brockman by taking his microphone away from him.[1]

Dan Rather was interviewing a farmer and his wife about the presidential election in New Hampshire. He then cut them off when he found out that Springfield had moved its presidential primaries up and everyone went to Springfield. In Springfield, he was a commentator at the Democratic debate at Springfield Elementary School.[2]

He attended a Former Anchor Support Group Meeting. He's asked if he has anything to contribute besides the bun cake he brought. He then asks Kent Brockman why he came into the news anchor business. He told Kent that finding an uncorrupted news story was rare and he should take it.[3]
