It is a parody of the song "Love Shack" originally written by Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, Keith Strickland, and Cindy Wilson and performed by The B-52s, who also sing the parody. The parody lyrics were written by Ian Maxtone-Graham. The song appears as the twenty-first track on the album, The Simpsons: Testify.
