The sales lady is a sales lady working for Springfield Baby-Proofing.

History

She comes round the Simpsons house and tells them that their baby is dead, scaring Marge and Homer. She then explains that that is what they would hear if Maggie fell to one of the thousands of death-traps in the house. She then goes to the kitchen, pretends to be a baby and really struggles to get into a bottle of bleach, showing how "easy" it is to get into it. She then adds up the bill to find that she is rich, before Homer kicks her out. She then catches Maggie as she falls out of the second story window.
