Fortnite is an online video game released in 2017. The game has seven different game modes, the most popular being Fortnite Battle Royale.
A The Simpsons themed mini-season will start after a live event on November 1, 2025 at 19:00 GMT.
Teasers and announcement
Official teasers started on October 24, 2025 when a cel-shaded tree started growing, which later turned into Bart's treehouse on October 26. Inside the treehouse was a Simpsons-style television that shows multiple clips, including the technical difficulties screen from "Treehouse of Horror VI" and Homer backing into the hedge in "Homer Loves Flanders". Kang and Kodos also had a small chance to appear before a match started.[2] Other teasers feature El Barto-vandalized artwork and logos.[3]
On October 27, 2025, an official teaser trailer was posted to The Simpsons' Twitter account featuring Kang and Kodos attacking characters in their UFO. Another trailer was released on YouTube on October 31, 2025.[4]

Live Event
Kang, Kodos, Jonesy, and Hope arrive at Springfield Island.
The live event started on November 1, 2025 at 15:00 GMT. It took place at Bart's treehouse.
Jonesy and Hope arrive at Bart's Treehouse to try and stop a tentacle monster from emerging. Meanwhile, Kang and Kodos are flying around in their UFO. Jonesy and Hope attempt to fight the demon and close the rift, but Kang and Kodos bring them aboard the UFO with a tractor beam. Jonesy and Hope fight against the aliens briefly until the UFO is grabbed by the tentacle monster. Jonesy notices a zero point shard in the demon's chest, and they attempt to use the tractor beam to grab it. The demon then throws the UFO into the rift, with a small piece of the shard breaking off with them. As Kodos attempts to redirect the wormhole to take them to Springfield, Hope tries to take them back to the island. The fight causes them to end up at Springfield Island after multiple realities merged together in a cynical brand mashup. Kang and Kodos decide to conquer the island, but the Battle Bus, driven by Otto, smashes through the UFO, destroying it. Jonesy and Hope parachute out and down to the island, where the zero point shard falls.
At the Simpson house, Homer is watching television when the batteries in his remote run out. The zero point shard smashes through the living room window, and Homer goes to pick it up when Marge tells him that the radio said that if they found a glowing shard, they should call the police. Homer ignores her and plugs it into his remote, giving it new powers. Homer finds that he can transform objects into other objects by zapping them with his remote. Marge confronts Homer about the shard, but Homer tells her that he'll use it to make their lives better. Homer goes around town zapping objects as he goes until he gets to Moe's Tavern. In Moe's, Moe tells him that two people in the bar, Jonesy and Hope, are looking for the shard. Homer uses the remote to give him a disguise as Jonesy and Hope eat self-feeding pretzels.
A trailer for The Simpsons mini-season then plays, parodying the opening sequence of the show.
