Maggie's Crib is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story that appears in Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders One-Shot WonderMaggie #1.

Synopsis

Bart is bewildered by the assembly instructions for his new radio-controlled airplane, but Maggie gets the job done.

Plot

The Simpson family are driving in the countryside and see a group of people flying radio-controlled airplanes. Bart is enthralled with the planes and pleads with Homer to buy him one. Later, Homer takes Bart to a hobby shop and buys him a radio-controlled airplane.

Assembly is required for Bart's new plane, so after he and Homer return home, Bart goes to his room and opens the box at his desk. As Maggie crawls into the room to watch, he gets out the parts and starts reading the assembly instructions. Confused by the instructions, Bart tries to assemble the plane on his own, but quickly becomes frustrated and walks out of the room in a huff. After Bart leaves, Maggie climbs onto the desk, looks over the plane's parts and starts putting them together.

Meanwhile, Bart finds Homer in the living room and asks him to help put the plane together. Homer agrees and they go back upstairs to Bart's room, but to their puzzlement, all of the airplane's parts are gone from the desk. Then they hear the sound of an engine coming from outside. Homer, Bart, Marge and Lisa then go out the front door and into the yard, where they find Maggie sitting on the lawn, happily flying Bart's airplane.
