Pete is an undercover cop working for the Springfield Police Department.

History

As Chief Wiggum sat down on a bench beside Homer, wanting to hear more of his stories, Homer pointedly asked "don't you have criminals to catch?" Wiggum then told Homer that he was "working on it" and that they currently had a guy attempting to infiltrate the mob. As he looked over he stated "oh, there he is now." Across the street, a nervous looking man can be seen standing beside Fat Tony. Wiggum then waved to the man, trying to get his attention, and started shouting, "Hey Pete! Pete!" Pete and Fat Tony both turn around and Wiggum shouts that they "fixed the Coke machine!" Fat Tony then lowers his sun glasses and stares at Pete suspiciously. Pete laughs nervously, as Chief Wiggum turns back to Homer and they continue talking.

It is unknown what happened to Pete after this incident.
