Germany is a country in Europe. Two German businessmen, Hans and Fritz took over the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and brought in German workers like Horst. Üter Zörker originates from Düsseldorf, Germany and Coach Lugash escaped East Germany by cartwheeling over the Berlin Wall.

History

Germany used to be a part of Austria, but eventually broke off from Austria and became a separate country known as the German Empire. It fought in World War I as a member of the Central Powers. In the aftermath of World War I, due to the Versaillis Treaty, Germany was given the absolute worst part of the treaty, as it had to not only disarm and agree to not rearm itself, but it was also dumped with a lot of reparation payments as well, which grew worse due to the Great Depression in 1929. Afterwards, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi movement took control of Germany and started invading several areas, leading to World War II. Nearing the end of the European Theatre, the Allied Forces discovered that the Nazis had been exterminating the Jewish population in Europe, and the Flying Hellfish managed to steal Paintings from a captured German Castle under a Tontine. Shortly thereafter, the Cold War started, and the country was split into two: one being West Germany, and the other being East Germany. Germany was later reunited in the 1990s with the fall of Communism.
