The Myth of the Imperfect Child is a book by Dr. Clarity Hoffman-Roth.

History

Marge was worried about Bart's poor academic performance. Due to the fact that she had already tried everything to fix the boy, Marge looked for parenting advice on Oogle, ending on Dr. Hoffman-Roth's website. Later, Homer and Marge attended a talk by Clarity Hoffman-Roth where she promoted her book, The Myth of the Imperfect Child. The book is based against low self-steem, and recommends parents to give their kids certificates, ribbons and trophies for achieving very simple tasks or doing absolutely nothing.
