Character Information
|
Marjane Satrapi is an Iranian-born French cartoonist.
History[edit]
She took part in the Chicks With Pix panel at Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con one month. She was asked for advice for young women, since she grew up in a repressive regime. She told the crowd that nothing is more important than your own unique voice. She also told the crowd that when you're promised a tote bag for doing a panel, make sure it's not just a reusable grocery bag. She then took out a Food Shed bag and punched a hole through it.
Satrapi is also the author of Persepolis.
